studio four

Set where a small stage once was, the studio is subtly raised — a shift in level that still defines the space today. The ceiling is slightly lower, the proportions more intimate. In summer, the room remains pleasantly cool; in winter, it becomes warm and enclosed. It is a space with a strong sense of atmosphere — quiet, grounded, and protected. Through large double doors, it can be combined with studio three.
The house is composed of two parts: a main house with seven studios and a small tower that hosts the shared spaces. It opens onto the Počuvalo steps — a place where the street widens and life slows down. A place where you can sit, pause and just occasionally someone comes by.
Above, a shared roof terrace offers space to be outside: tables, chairs, shade, and long evenings. Just inside, a communal room with a large table continues this atmosphere — for reading, working, eating, or simply being together.
On the ground floor, the attic bar provides everyday essentials: coffee, small groceries, a small house shop, and a place to arrive.
In front of the house, a generous shared terrace with gravel, plants, and sun loungers extends the living space outward. One level below, at the height of the lane, a small garden is set within the remains of a ruin — a quiet, slightly hidden place with simple seating.
All studios — both on the ground floor and in the attic — are equipped with a compact kitchen. It can be concealed behind a large folding wall or fully opened, depending on how the space is used.
