A place to pause.
A place to work.
A place to come together.

Our apartments are both a retreat and an open framework — quiet days, retreats, focused work, or shared time by the water.
They can also become studios, backdrops, or spaces for thinking: for offsites, small productions, photo shoots, celebrations, or weddings surrounded by greenery.

Book individual apartments or the entire ensemble — depending on what you need.

We’re happy to put together a personal, uncomplicated offer.

Lastovo is part of ORTE.

about lastovo
Seven studios on the island of Lastovo. A house for retreat, work, and time away.  Simple spaces, close to the sea, set within a protected landscape.

In 2025/26, the apartments were refurbished and partly re-furnished by ammi and undjurekbrüggen in collaboration with local actors. Custom pieces by Eins und Viele were designed specifically for the house.

Inna (+49 170 2312027) will take care of everything ahead of your stay — from booking to any questions along the way. On site Ivan (+385 91 7665 472)  is your point of contact — for questions, recommendations, or simply a warm welcome.

arrival
Getting to Lastovo takes time.
And that is part of the experience.

The journey slows things down — step by step, moving from city to coast, from mainland to island. What feels distant at first becomes part of the rhythm of arrival.

You can reach the island via Split or Dubrovnik.

Once on Lastovo, a local bus meets the arriving ferry and connects the harbour with the village. If you prefer, Ivan can also arrange a pickup.

via Split
The most common route is via Split (take a plane). If you have the time, it’s worth staying for a moment — walking through the old town, visiting the Split 3, or stopping for a coffee at D16 Coffee.

From Split, ferries connect to Lastovo once a day, usually in the afternoon.
With a car, ferries are operated by Jadrolinija – once a day, usually in the afternoon.
Without a car, a faster passenger ferry is available via TP Line.

If you decide to spend some time in Split, you can find our recommendations here.
via Dubrovnik

An alternative route leads via Dubrovnik, with a daily ferry connection to Lastovo.
